Billing

Overview

SprintUp Billing is your school’s financial control center. It gives you visibility over what your school pays out (subscriptions to Curriculum Designers for purchased products) and what comes in (payments from students enrolling in your school’s products). It also lets you set up your payment account so you can receive those student payments directly.

Navigate to System → Billing to access it. The page has two tabs: Dashboard and Payment Settings.

Dashboard Tab

The Dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of your school’s financial activity, split into Outgoing (school → creators) and Incoming (students → school) views.

Summary Cards

Three cards sit at the top of the dashboard:

CardWhat it shows
Active SubscriptionsThe number of active student subscriptions to your school’s products
Total StudentsTotal number of students enrolled across all programs
Total ReceivedCumulative payments received from students

Income Over Time

A line chart showing your school’s total income per day over the last 4 months. Use it to spot enrollment trends and track revenue growth over time.

Subscriptions

A summary of all active subscriptions — both outgoing (your school’s subscriptions to Curriculum Designer products) and incoming (student subscriptions to your school’s products). Click View All Subscriptions to see the full list with details.

Invoice History

A log of all invoices students have paid to your school. Click View All Invoices to browse the complete invoice history.

If no subscriptions or invoices appear yet, it means no transactions have been recorded on that side. Once students start enrolling or your school purchases a product, entries will appear here automatically.

Payment Settings Tab

Payment Settings is where you connect your school’s payment account so that student payments can reach you. Until this is set up and verified, your school cannot receive payouts from student enrollments.

Step 1 — Create Your Payment Account

The first time you open Payment Settings, you’ll see the Create Stripe Connect Account form. Fill in the following:

  • Email — the billing contact email for your school
  • Phone — a contact number for payment-related communications
  • Country — enter a 2-letter ISO country code (e.g., US, GB, CA); this determines available currencies and payout options
  • Account Type — choose Individual (a personal account) or Company (recommended for schools and organizations)
  • Business Name — your school’s official name (e.g., “Lincoln High School”)
  • Tax ID — your school’s tax identification number, used for compliance and invoicing
  • Address — your school’s registered address (Address Line 1, City, State/Province, Postal Code)

Click Create Account to register. No charges are made at this step — you’re simply setting up the payout account.

Step 2 — Complete Setup (Add Bank & Verify)

After creating the account, you’ll be prompted to Complete Setup. This takes you to a secure Stripe-hosted page where you:

  • Add your bank account — the account where student payments will be deposited
  • Verify your identity — a compliance step required to send and receive funds

You’ll be redirected back to Billing when done. If you need to finish later, return to Payment Settings and click Complete Setup on Stripe to pick up where you left off.

ℹ️

The setup page is run by Stripe, SprintUp’s payment partner. Your bank and identity details are encrypted and never stored on SprintUp’s servers.

Step 3 — You’re Ready

Once verified, your Payment Settings will show your account overview:

  • Account type, country, and currency
  • Email and business name on file
  • Bank account status — Connected or Not connected
  • Open payment dashboard — launches your full Stripe dashboard in a new tab, where you can view payout history, update bank details, and manage advanced settings

Payouts will run automatically according to SprintUp’s schedule. No further action is needed unless you want to update your details.
