School Admin Dashboard Guide

The School Admin Dashboard is your central hub for managing your school’s SprintUp Education workspace. Available only to School Administrators, this dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your school’s activity and quick access to common administrative tasks.

Only users with the School Administrator role can access the Admin Dashboard. If you don’t have access, contact SprintUp Education support.

Dashboard Overview

When you first log in, you’ll land on the Dashboard screen under the Overview tab. It contains three main areas: the stats cards, Recent Activity, and Quick Actions.

Stats Cards

At the top of the dashboard, four cards give you an at-a-glance summary of your school:

  • Total Teachers — number of teachers registered, across all classrooms
  • Total Students — number of students enrolled, across all classrooms
  • Classes — total number of classes created in your school
  • Course Usage — number of courses in use, across all classrooms

Recent Activity

The Recent Activity panel tracks what has happened in your school this week:

  • New Users — users who joined this week
  • New Classrooms — classrooms created this week
  • New Boards — boards created this week

Each item shows a count with a “This week” indicator so you can monitor growth at a glance.

Quick Actions

The Quick Actions panel gives you one-click shortcuts to the most common administrative tasks:

  • Add Teacher — invite a new teacher to your school
  • Add Student — enroll a new student
  • Create Class — set up a new class
  • Create Course — create a new course for your school

Quick Actions are shortcuts — you can also access all these features through the dedicated sections in the left sidebar.

Analytics Tab

Click the Analytics tab (or the “Analytics” button in the top right) to access the School Analytics Dashboard — a comprehensive overview of your school’s performance and activities.

School Overview

A quick snapshot panel at the top shows four key institution-wide metrics:

  • Total Users — total registered users, with active user count below
  • Courses — number of courses, with total revenue generated
  • Classrooms — number of classrooms out of total capacity
  • Attendance — attendance rate as a percentage, with total sessions counted

Recent Activity (This Week)

The same three weekly growth indicators from the Overview tab appear here with more detail:

  • New Users — with a Growth trend indicator
  • New Classrooms — with a Growth trend indicator
  • New Boards — with a Growth trend indicator

Charts & Detailed Metrics

Scrolling down reveals six detailed metric panels:

User Activity Trends — a line chart showing monthly active users broken down by students and teachers over time.

Resource Distribution — a pie chart showing the breakdown of school resources by period. Each slice represents a billing or study period with its percentage of total resources.

Boards & Tasks Activity — a bar chart comparing boards and tasks created, showing both the current month and total counts side by side.

Academic Metrics — a breakdown of your school’s academic structure:

  • Study Periods (all active)
  • Academic Levels (all active)
  • Total Sessions (all active)

Capacity Utilization — shows how much of your school’s classroom capacity is currently in use, displaying the utilization rate as a percentage alongside used and available capacity figures.

User Breakdown — detailed user statistics split into three categories: Teachers, Students, and Administrators, with an Active Users count at the bottom.

Reports Tab

The Reports tab is where school-wide reports will be generated and viewed.

Report generation is currently being implemented. This section will allow you to generate and export detailed school reports once available.
